Buy Remanufactured Cartridges

The green energy movement is spending large amounts of money to convince the general business public they should buy soy printer cartridges.  Although the soy print quality is close to petroleum based print, the quality of the printing from the soy alternative has not achieved a comparable level of quality when it is compared to petroleum based products.

Several articles have been written extolling the benefits of soy toners.  They state the quality of print fro soy based products is close to the petroleum based toner, but no one has stated the printing from soy is equal or better than the traditional toner printing solution. 

The soy versions will cost the consumer about 20% less than new HP cartridges, although remanufactured printer cartridges that have been refilled with traditional toner will cost much less than Soy Print.  The United States “consumes as much as 50,000 tons of petroleum-based toner powder each year,” says Debi Overhaul, president of Print Recovery Concepts. Office employees will save money by purchasing remanufactured toner products for their firm. 

Another important factor to consider when analyzing the advantages of traditional toners is the fact that the Central and Midwestern parts of the United States are in the middle of a severe drought, which is driving up the price of all products manufactured from soy.  Food prices have advanced 5% in the past 30 days.     Traditional printer prices are more stable than their soy alternative. Companies need to budget for the solutions they can rely upon so overhead costs can be controlled.  As of this date traditional toners offer the best alternative.
